A scene inspired by Mathieu Bablet's graphic novel Shangri-La — stepping into a world we love.
Shangri-La started as an homage. Mathieu Bablet's world has a density of detail and a melancholy scale that we wanted to translate into a fully 3D environment — not a copy, but a way of standing inside that atmosphere and lighting it ourselves.
The work focused on density and scale: layers of structure and detail that build the sense of a vast, lived-in world you could step into.
